First Light

Its late, babysitting a telescope outside. 

Here are my thoughts while the shutter is open.

 

"Robonaut 2 - affectionately known as R2 - is hitching a one-way ride to the International Space Station this week aboard the final flight of space shuttle Discovery."

 I have feared them before, but I have embraced the idea of intelligent species inspired by ourselves. Teach them well and they will learn, just as some of us do and some of us do not. We are riding a large wave of potential. If we can see it, we can enjoy the ride it though the void of what ever it is.
